Linz/ Bavaria/ Czech Republic. Even before reaching the border, the 30-year-old Czech was found by police officers from Marktredwitz. A property search led to the result that the transported e-bikes were reported as stolen by the Linz Police Inspectorate. The bicycles can be assigned to the thefts of Bruchhausen and Rheinbreitbach. The defendant is officially registered in Rheinbreitbach. Further investigations are ongoing. “The defendant, who is sufficiently known to the police,” the police report reads, “refused any form of cooperation.” (PM)
