Cassandra Angelie was arrested by the Cyber Sub-Directorate of the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya on December 29, 2021 at the Ascott Hotel, Central Jakarta. The arrests were made after investigators received reports from the public regarding the alleged online prostitution practice at the location.
