The gang of friends from Skåne, Mikael Åkesson, Daniel Pålsson and Andreas Christensen had made the trip to Andøy’s camp in Risøysundet to fish for two weeks.
On Monday afternoon they took the trip out to Andfjorden and dropped anchor and at midnight released the seibit bait.
It was The fishing newspaper who mentioned the matter first.

For the trip out, the plans had been ready, they were going to try and fish in deep water after hooking.
According to SNL is a large shark. It can be over seven meters long and weigh over a tonne. The hornbill grows very slowly and is the longest-lived vertebrate known. The shark was redlisted in 2010.
Increases safety after shark attacks
The hours passed and it wasn’t until morning that the line started to pull.
– Towards the morning, Daniel’s reel began to growl a little more. Lina began to separate from the other two’s line’s direction. The tension then rose, Mikael Åkesson tells The fishing newspaper.
– The shark was hooked and the “fight” was on. Everyone’s pulse rose. Big shark, but how big? It was difficult to decide. Time passed, and the meters of line came onto the reel, says Daniel Pålsson.
