Cauet: a famous singer accuses him, in turn, of sexual assault – Closer

Sébastien Cauet’s public image has been seriously damaged these last weeks. As a reminder, the emblematic host of NRJ is accused of rape by several women. The latter also filed a complaint against him, which led to the opening of an investigation. For his part, Sébastien Cauet categorically refutes the facts with which he is accused. To defend himself, the former TF1 presenter also filed a complaint for cyberharassment, slanderous denunciation, forgery and use of forgery, but also attempted extortion by an organized gang. As part of an investigation published by Release, the singer Yelle spoke about her bad experience with the host.

Invited in The Cauet Method in 2008, the musician claims to have been victim of sexual assault by the host. “At the end of the show, I find myself stuck next to him. Sébastien Cauet: one of his accusers breaks the silence

During this same investigation Release collected the unpublished testimony of a woman who filed a complaint against Sébastien Cauet. She claims that the host raped her in 2011. That year, he arranged to meet her in a private place. A singer by profession, the complainant had contacted the presenter to talk to him about her musical work. “I thought we were only going to talk about the job, but not at all. I was naive. When he arrived, he completely ignored my initial intentions, as if in his head, he had come just for that. As if I were a being of no importance”, she indicated. She then assured that she had not had “the strength neither to shout nor to make a scandal so that things stop” at the time of the rape of which she accuses Sébastien Cauet. The host remains presumed innocent of the charges against him for the moment.
