The government has decided to continue the implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) for the next 2 weeks.
The Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said that, with a fairly good handling and control of the Pandemic, Indonesia succeeded in encouraging the Improvement of Manufacturing Industry Performance, where our Manufacturing PMI in September reached 52.5. “Therefore, in implementing the PPKM Level, which will be implemented for the next two weeks, the government will make various adjustments,” Luhut said in a virtual media presentation, Monday (4/10/2021).
The first adjustments were the opening of a fitness center with a maximum capacity of 25% with the implementation of strict procedures and Screening Care to Protect in the agglomeration areas of Jabodetabek, Greater Bandung, Solo Raya, Semarang Raya, Jogjakarta, and Greater Surabaya.
Second, the food and beverage counters in the cinema are allowed to open but the cinema capacity is still applied at 50%. This will apply to level 3, 2 and 1 cities
The third adjustment is that Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport will be opened internationally on October 14, 2021 as long as it fulfills the terms and conditions regarding quarantine, tests, and the readiness of the task force.
“Every international arrival passenger must have proof of a hotel booking for a minimum of 8 days of quarantine at their own expense,” said Luhut.
