TRIESTE. Following the reopening yesterday of the 12th floor of the Cattinara hospital, Asugi informs that in the afternoon of tomorrow, Thursday 15 October, the hospitalization of the Pneumology with 10 beds will be transferred from the 13th floor of the Surgical Tower to the 13th floor of the Medical Tower.

The transfer is part of the actions envisaged by the Pandemic Plan in order to guarantee an efficient organization to face the recovery of cases in advance and guarantee the necessary assistance, making available to patients all the professional skills required thanks to the collaboration and synergy between different professionals.

On the 13th floor there are therefore 13 beds in Emergency Medicine, 6 observation posts in the pre-hospitalization filter area and 10 semi-intensive beds in Pneumology. On the 12th floor there are 36 places in intensive care.

Currently there are 2 intubated people (Intensive Care) and 4 people who need non-invasive ventilation (Semi-Intensive Therapy) hospitalized on the 12th floor of the Medical Tower of the Cattinara Hospital, including a ninety-six year old transferred from Pordenone tonight.-
