Despite the collapse of cryptocurrency exchange FTX and the prolonged “winter” in the digital assets market, the head of “Ark Invest” Cathy Wood does not back down from the extremely positive cryptocurrencies future prophecy.

In a conversation with “Bloomberg,” the investor reiterated his previously expressed prediction that one “bitcoinsthe value will reach a million dollars by 2030. The company that manages it released this forecast earlier this year, when the price of cryptocurrencies averaged three to four times higher than today.
“Sometimes you need a battle test, you have to go through crises to see survivors,” she said, noting that current issues help weed out failed projects and crooks alike.
Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, has lost 64% of its value this year, but Wood sees the crypto winter as an opportunity to test the coin’s infrastructure
“We think Bitcoin smells like roses,” he said.
He agrees that the FTX crash, where it was revealed the company mishandled billions of its investors’ money, is a lesson. But he believes that this lesson will directly help to better understand how and where to invest in the cryptocurrency world.
