Catherine Jandrain, the improvised of New York

Catherine Jandrain, Carolingian author, tells us about her play, “La Belle inexpected”, which she will perform next April on the Marignan stage. Catherine Jandrain, can you explain the origin of this piece?

I wrote it around 2014, when I was living in Paris. I wrote the first part first, then I added the other characters and put it in a drawer. One day I asked professionals to read it and they said it was okay and I had to do it. I played it in 2018 at the Comédie centrale, then at the Center culturel de Presles. We have been interrupted by the pandemic.
