Catherine Gupalo’s Birthday Concert: A Celebration of Music, Emotions, and Real Connections

Recently, the most significant events in Katrīna’s creative activity are receiving the highest Latvian state award – the Order of the Three Stars, participation in the Musical Bank’s grand concert at the Daugavpils Olympic Center, Zigmar Liepiņš’s anniversary concert tour in Latgale Gora, Liepāja Olympic Center and “Arena Rīga”, performing at the 30th anniversary concert of Latvijas Finiera. Arena Rīga”, in the 18 November solemn ceremony at the Presidential Palace and Latvian Television concerts.

The musician collaborated with the singer Igo in his anniversary concerts in Dzintari concert hall and VEF Culture Palace. Katrīna is included in the annual achievements list of “Pastaiga 2022” magazine “Outstanding Latvian women”. The Ukrainian support song “Resistance” created by her, which brought together more than 40 musicians, was nominated for the Latvian Television and Radio annual award “Kilograms Kultūras”, while the song “Dur prom” became a radio hit and was in the TOP 10 of the most played songs in Latvia for 13 weeks, playing in nine in Latvian radio stations. Together with Edgars Vilcāns, Katrīna created not only radio hits, but also music for the “Volya” silver collection coin of the Bank of Latvia.
