Catch-Up Concert: Music for Women Composers in Worms Featuring Liuba Petrova

Worms. (red). “Music for Women Composers” can be heard on Friday, July 21, from 7 p.m. in the Luther Church – a catch-up date for the canceled concert on International Women’s Day. The violinist Liuba Petrova (Frankfurt) presents music by respected and influential composers from the Baroque and Romantic eras, conveying cultural and historical backgrounds. She will be accompanied on harpsichord and piano by Christian Schmitt (Worms). Works will be played by Isabella Leonarda, Elisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre, Emilie Mayer and Clara Schumann, among others. The concert in the Lutherkirche, Karlsplatz 5, is supported by the equal opportunities office and the cultural coordination of the city of Worms.
