The woman was injured and the man had signs of a struggle. After a long interrogation, the Caltagirone prosecutor had decided to order the arrest. The autopsy will clarify the exact cause of death, which could be an internal brain hematoma or asphyxiation.
The victim was a social health worker who worked in the assistance of the disabled in Calatino. She was a strong and determined woman. As emerged from her Facebook profile, where she defined herself as “solar, extroverted, lover of life”, but at the same time: “I never give up, I hate false people, but above all I hate hypocrites and petty ones”.
