The Catalan authorities have taken a number of measures to avoid the consequences of drought in the region, which is the worst in the last 100 years. According to Mundo Deportivo, the use of showers in gyms and centers will be prohibited. This restriction will also affect the players of Barcelona and Girona.
According to the publication, the introduction of the measures was confirmed by the Minister of Climate Change, Food and Agriculture David Mascourt. From now on, football players must wash exclusively at home to comply with the government decree, as they will not be allowed to shower either during training or after matches.
Let us note that the Ukrainian legionnaires of Girona Viktor Tsygankov and Artem Dovbik will experience the innovations in the next round, when they host Alaves at home at Montilivi. Barcelona are a little luckier – they will go to visit Valencia, where they will not be limited in showering.
