Bielefeld – Gonzalo Castro can hope for his starting XI debut at Bundesliga club Arminia Bielefeld. “He’s getting better and better, and his physical condition is also on the right track,” said Arminen coach Frank Kramer before the match at Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday (8:30 p.m. / DAZN).

Kramer believes the 34-year-old midfielder, who moved to Bielefeld during the winter break after several months without a club, can play an important role in East Westphalia’s relegation battle. “He’s extremely calm on the ball.”

In the two previous games in the second half of the season, Castro initially had to be content with the role as a reserve player, but was substituted on and saved Arminia a point last Sunday with his goal against SpVgg Greuther Fürth to make it 2-2.

Bielefeld have been unbeaten in four games. In Frankfurt, Kramer can also plan again with attacker Fabian Klos after his ban has expired. In addition, Bryan Lasme and Janni Serra are available for the offensive.
