Castor & Pollux, a native digital agency, is taking a new strategic step by strengthening its Social Media & Influence department with the arrival of Gautier Rennes at its head.
With more than 11 years of experience in social media, Gautier Rennes will be responsible for addressing the challenges of the strong development of the sector, which already represents 35% of its turnover.
As director of social media, Gautier Rennes joins the group’s management committee. His mission is to review the sector’s offerings to meet the growing needs of customers in an ever-changing ecosystem; to create new opportunities for the group’s clients and to conquer new strategic sectors, thanks to their proven experience, especially in retail, with brands such as Carrefour, Castorama and Yves Rocher.
Biography of Gautier Rennes
Gautier Rennes started his career at Socialyse (Havas group) in 2013 as a social media strategist supporting international brands such as EDF, Sodebo, Citroën, Volvo, and Crédit Agricole. In 2016, he joined Mediacom (a WPP group) as a digital strategist and social content strategist, contributing to the group’s evangelism on social media issues and managing projects for the Mars group. Gautier Rennes continues his career within the Publicis group by successively being the director of social media for the Carrefour account at Publicis Conseil then at Everyday as Head of Social Media and successfully a ‘ pilot several key projects. At the end of the summer, he joined the Castor & Pollux group as director of the social media department.
