He had come from Wipperfürth to visit the Pfeiffer ribbon weaving mill in the Winterhagen industrial area. “It’s very interesting to see such processes here on the ground,” he added. A total of 17 companies throughout the city took part in the event. There were seven hours between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Friday to get an impression of the diversity of local companies. It was almost impossible to visit all the companies, since the large companies in particular had offered guided tours, which were extremely interesting but also time-consuming. In addition, there was no shuttle bus between the various locations.
