On Wednesday 26 October, the children of the city’s recreational centers and the EMI of Cenne-Monestiés participated in a day of sports for the disabled and adapted sports organized by the contact person for the disability action of the youth sector. More than 100 young people were able to practice various sports and sports for the disabled throughout the day at the Pierre de Coubertin sports complex.
The organizers thank the municipality of Castelnaudary for the loan of the infrastructure and the partners for their participation: the Departmental Rugby Committee associated with RELM, the Dojo Chaurien, La Chaurienne, Sébastien Lopez with an archery laboratory, Lisa Belliato , director of the Temps Danse studio, with a handicap laboratory, and finally the Handisport Departmental Committee with a torball laboratory, a rugby chair laboratory and a handibike and tandem bike laboratory. We also thank the city leaders of Prosper Estieu leisure centers, the Maison des Jeunes Fontanilles Périé (MJFP) and Brossolette for their involvement and good humor.
The day ended with a snack and a handidance demonstration by the dancers from Temps Danse studio. A great day of sharing for everyone!
