City / hospital coordination was exemplary during the first and second waves of COVID, showing the synergy of all the players in order to offer adapted and graduated care to all the patients in the territory presenting symptoms. This same logic continues in the context of the vaccination campaign. As of January 5, 2021, a new videoconference meeting organized under the aegis of the hospital center in connection with the town hall of Castelnaudary took place in order to define the methods of vaccination of liberal health professionals and to establish, in accordance with the logic of the territorial professional health communities, the modalities of setting up a vaccination center for the population of the territory. About thirty independent doctors and nurses from the territory responded, as well as Dr. Xavier Martin, infectious disease specialist at the Carcassonne Hospital Center, and Xavier Crisnaire, departmental delegate of the ARS, regional health agency which insured all professionals. present with the full collaboration of the ARS in this unprecedented vaccination campaign.
