“We want to create a link between the municipality and its economic actors to stimulate a dynamic by creating a Business club in Lafox”, told us Yohan Verdié, mayor and Murielle Cristofoli, deputy at the end of 2021. A first meeting took place at the town hall in last November around a coffee.
The elected officials then presented the economic situation of the municipality, gathered information, listened to the needs and expectations of the entrepreneurs settled in Lafox.
On this occasion, the merchants, craftsmen and liberal professions of the commune were able to exchange with the elected officials and between them.
At the end of May, Yohan Verdié and his team organized a new meeting of the Business Club to which representatives of the territory’s economic institutions were invited: Ms. Lacapère for the Trade Agency, Ms. Hébreu, Business Support Director at the CCI, Ms. Grattieri, Head of the Economic Development and Attractiveness of the Territory of Agen Agglomeration and Ms. Souidi, Economic Development Officer.
These speakers were able to present the actions of their services to companies across the territory as well as current events and projects under development with high added economic value: modernization of the tile market, Bar project and the Pont de Camélat, construction of the second Agen-Ouest interchange on the A62.
The rich exchanges lasted two hours.
Another thematic meeting date will soon be proposed.
“The format of the meeting will be different. The next topic is under study”, says Ms. Cristofoli.
