Casino brands are getting digital

The Casino signs, a brand born more than one hundred and twenty years ago, do not really convey an image of modernity. The Géant Casino hypermarkets, the Petit Casino supermarkets and convenience stores do not have, for the former, the legitimacy of the pioneers Carrefour and Auchan, for the latter the aura of innovation of their sister companies Monoprix and Franprix; as for the third, they are in a local network with a myriad of brands – Vival, Spar, Sherpa à la montagne – known but with no visible common denominator. All of them, however, force the pace of a digital transformation that is already more underway than it seems.
