“Cashier Refuses Sale of Beer During Football Match in Plovdiv Store”

A cashier in a “Triumph” store in Plovdiv literally shocked a customer by categorically refusing to sell him what he entered the store for. This he explained through his signal to Plovdiv24.bg reader of our media.

We give him the floor now:

“Hello! A little while ago, around 7:30 p.m., I entered the store in question on Lev Tolstoy Street to buy only one beer. However, when I got to the cash register, the woman there told me that at the moment alcohol is not being sold due to an order of the Sixth District Police Department.

The reason – the match between the Lokomotiv Plovdiv and Septemvri Sofia teams taking place at the stadium in “Lauta” Park. Sorry, but that’s even dumber than the mayor’s no-alcohol order on election day.

This match is neither risky, nor a derby, nor does it have a large number of away fans. Total madness, we have become greater Catholics than the Pope!”
