There is pending for refunds related to cashback after the stop on July 1st. The calendar of refunds of money, initially foreseen within two months from the end of each semester, has changed; there is a postponement, the new provision indicates the new deadline in November 30, both for the period just ended and for the six months of next year. But the greatest fear of citizens concerns any errors in refunds and non-credit.
Should a different amount be reimbursed than what appears on the IO app, as reported The messenger, it is possible to do claim in the specific section of the Consap website, from 15 July 2021 until 29 August 2021. Once you have registered, you can make a request specifying the reason. But if unrecognized transactions have been made and acquired by the IO app and the PagoPa platform due to technical problems, in theory Consap cannot intervene.
To file a claim against failure or incorrect credit there is time for cashback up to six months after the expiry of the reference period. Attention, because this deadline is mandatory, letting the deadline expire means renouncing the cashback refund. However, it remains intact to file complaints for subsequent reference periods. Before submitting an appeal, remember to wait a few days after the deadline for crediting the cashback, to leave the banks the necessary time to register the transfer.
The question is simple to fill in, answering the questions that are asked by the portal. A valid identity document must be attached to the complaint. Alternatively, if you can digitally sign, the signature is enough. Then attach or keep all the receipts available Pos and any other document that is believed to be useful to demonstrate their reasons. It is important to keep track of the operations performed.
From 1 January 2021, the cashback operation guarantees anyone who has carried out at least 50 transactions with cards or ATMs up to 30 June, a refund of 10% on a maximum expense of 1,500 euros. So the premium can go up to € 150 one-off. To have the refunds the participating citizens (who were 7.9 million) had to download the IO app and insert the Iban (in the “wallet” section) for the next payment.
