The first phase of cashback 2021 will close on 30 June. So the moment of payment of the reimbursement arrives and the crediting of the liquidation of the 1,500 euro super-prize. But there still remains the doubt as to what will happen in the second half of the year or from 1 July. Will the rules change or will the initiative fade?
When refunds arrive
Refunds from Consap will start from 1 July and for those who have joined the initiative, they will be credited with their current account, at the latest by 29 August. The reimbursement value can reach 150 euros. Those who have made at least 50 transactions from 1 January to 30 June 2021 using ATMs, credit cards or by choosing the electronic payment method in stores are entitled to it. The credit consists in the “liquidation” of the accumulated amount (ie 10% of purchases) up to a maximum of 150 euros. But not only: whoever is among the 100,000 Italians who have carried out the highest number of electronic transactions since January will also be entitled to the super cashback of 1,500 euros.
How the payment takes place
The reimbursement of the cashback takes place through a transfer to the current account that was indicated during registration on the IO app. By June 30th it is also possible to change the IBAN for credit through the application.
Complaints
On the Consap complaints portal it will be possible to make a complaint if you do not receive a refund of the cashback or if the amount is incorrect. To do this you will need to register for this link by the end of October. Consap will then have 30 days to evaluate the individual case.
