The government updates data related to cases Corona in Indonesia. Today it was reported that there were an additional 1,054 positive cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia, of which DKI Jakarta contributed the most positive cases of COVID-19 with a total of 720.
This data on the development of the spread of COVID-19 was submitted by the COVID-19 Handling Task Force, Saturday (15/1/2022). This data is updated every day with a cut off at 12.00 WIB.
With this addition, the total number of COVID-19 cases found in Indonesia from March 2020 to today is 4,270,794 cases. Of these, 8,463 of them are still positive Corona (active case). This number is 586 more cases than yesterday.
After DKI Jakarta, the province that contributed the second most cases today was West Java with 118 cases, then Banten with 107 cases.
It was also reported that today 464 people in Indonesia have recovered from COVID-19. The total number of people who have recovered from Corona is 4,118,164 people.
In addition, today 4 positive patients were reported Corona in the country died. Thus, the total number of COVID-19 positive patients who died was 144,167 people.
The government also reported the number of suspects monitored today. There were 4,345 suspects monitored. For the total number of specimens tested today was 277,856.
The government is tirelessly urging residents to comply with the COVID-19 prevention health protocols, namely wearing masks, washing hands with soap and running water, and keeping a distance.
The COVID-19 vaccination program is also being intensified to create communal immunity (herd immunity). The government has also implemented the implementation of community activity restrictions (PPKM) levels 1 to 4 to suppress the spread of Corona.
Residents are asked to obey the rules imposed during PPKM so that the Corona virus pandemic can be overcome.
