Casemiro Admires Lionel Messi: The Rivalry and Respect

KOMPAS.com – Players for Manchester United and the Brazilian national team, Casemiro, admire the Argentine superstar, Lionel Messi.

Lionel Messi has always been a rival for Casemiro, both at club level when both of them played in LaLiga and at international level when Brazil played Argentina.

However, Casemiro does not deny that Messi has marked a history in football.

“Messi has made his mark, you can’t deny it. He has always been a rival, both in Barcelona and Argentina,” Casemiro was quoted as saying by Brazilian media Placar.

In addition, Casemiro also emphasized that Lionel Messi along with Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar are the best footballers today.

“I never played against Cristiano, thank God, he has given me many titles and wins,” Casemiro joked.

Lionel Messi is currently preparing to make his debut at Inter Miami after spending the previous two years defending Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Inter Miami via its official Twitter revealed that Messi will be introduced as the club’s new player at the DRV PNK Stadium on Sunday (16/7/2023).

Local media Miami Herald reported that the megastar contracted for two years with the option of an additional season.
