“The CEO is always brainwashing Lee Seung-Gi saying ‘You’re a ‘minus’ singer. Your fans don’t spend money, but they have a lot of requests. Earnings with other things. Think of singing as fan service.’ From Lee Seung Gi’s point of view, he would rather not be criticized than paid,” said Lee Seung Gi’s manager quoted by Dispatch.

Lee’s manager Seung Gi also recorded the conversation during the salary transparency discussion meeting. In the recording, CEO Kwon Jin Young slams the table and throws a tantrum at Executive Director Hook.

“I swear on my behalf that I will kill him. I will spend the rest of my life trying to kill Lee Seung Gi. That bastard. I swear it,” said the CEO of Hook Entertainment.

Kwon Jin Young also blamed the Hook Entertainment staff. Because according to him Lee Seung Gi wasn’t getting paid to sing because the staff was lazy to do the math.

“Hey (Lee Seung Gi’s manager), listen to me. Park XX (accounting staff)! Hey! We told Park XX to do this (calculation), but he didn’t. He didn’t because that crazy bastard didn’t want to work,” continued the CEO of Hook Entertainment.

In the voice recording released by Dispatch, manager Lee Seung Gi cries as he talks to executive director Hook. Kwon Ji Young told him to work for a young artist Hook Entertainment and told him about a career Lee Seung-Gi it’s over.
