Parumala assassination attempt; The Human Rights Commission filed a case
Pathanamthitta: The Human Rights Commission has registered a case in the case of attempted murder of a woman who was giving birth at Parumala hospital. The accused Anusha tried to kill Sneha who was giving birth when she came in the guise of a nurse. The commission has directed the district police chief and the district medical officer to submit a report on the incident within 15 days. Anusha tried to kill Sneha by using air embolism.
The police is investigating the incident. Anusha is Sneha’s husband’s friend. Sneha’s husband Arun was questioned and released by the police yesterday. The phones of Arun and accused Anusha were taken into custody by the police. Their WhatsApp chats are being checked. The police are investigating whether Arun got help in the attempt to kill Sneha. Arun has stated that he has a friendly relationship with Anusha.
The police decided to take the statement of accused Anusha’s husband and ex-husband in the incident. Since the husband is abroad, the statement will be done online. After the complainant Sneha recovers her health, her statement will also be taken. Anusha had testified that she knew about air embolism. The police have registered a case against Anusha under sections 1860, 419, 450 and 307 of the IPC.
It was on Friday that Anusha dressed as a nurse and tried to kill Sneha by injecting her with a syringe. It is reported that they tried to kill Sneha to get Arun.
