Casa-Settat: CRI holds workshops on economic recovery

The Casablanca-Settat Regional Investment Center (CRI) recently held thematic workshops to discuss the recovery in this territory, as part of the work of the Regional Economic Watch Committee (CRVE).

To this end, and with a view to involving a wide range of local actors, eight sectoral committees have been set up to call on collective intelligence, in order to better think about the actions to be deployed in short and medium term, aiming at a regional economic recovery under the best conditions, indicates the CRI.

These are the following sectors: Tourism, crafts and social and solidarity economy, industry, commerce, creative and cultural industries, agriculture and fishing, construction and incentives, promotion and development of investments. The role of these groups is to reflect, to analyze, to design ideas and tools that respond to the various challenges and requirements of the region, and encompass all the concerns of the company, with a view to a prosperous economic recovery.

The 8 thematic working groups each have a leader, who is responsible for leading and coordinating the group’s work. The Regional Investment Center relied on these workshops to synthesize and structure all the responses and recommendations by the eight working groups, while involving analysts and specialists in the field.

The summary of the reflections carried out during the work of the groups is returned to the Regional Economic Watch Committee, which, following an in-depth analysis and consultation with the various stakeholders, should lead to the update of the recommendations necessary for the revival of the sectors. most affected by the crisis.

Created under the impetus and chairmanship of the Wali of the region, the CRVE is a think tank and a source of proposals which aims to propose and deploy realistic and achievable measures to help the sectors most affected by the health crisis of the pandemic of the new coronavirus (Covid-19).
