Casa del Libro Sudcaliforniano: A Hub for South Californian Literature

La Paz, Baja California Sur. (OEM-Informex).- The Casa del Libro Sudcaliforniano annually publishes up to 20 works of local, national and international interest.

“Previously, print runs of a thousand copies were made, today only 500 of them are made, of which donations are made, to be taken to schools and the same for sale,” said Fedra Isadora Rodarte Hirales, coordinator of Editorial Development at the Instituto Sudcaliforniano de Culture.

The edition is carried out by the Libraries Coordination, Pablo L. Martínez Historical Archive and the Carlos Olachea Art Gallery.

The book covers are always praised by the readers who choose the works and highlight the attraction for the designs.

Mercedes Ojeda Bañaga, who is in charge of the bookstore at the Casa del Libro Sudcaliforniano, told us that “Editorial Libros Mexicanos has been in charge of buying South Californian books for a long time, as has the Academy of Bibliographic Services, which have editorial power nationally and internationally.
