Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.- The Casa de la Danza Los Cabos / Foro Vasconcelos announced that it will host the National Circuit of Performing Arts Chapultepec 2024 of the Ministry of Culture, receiving 17 companies, with a total of 18 shows and 33 functions.

The news was announced by Elea Casiano and Marco Antonio Vasconcelos, directors of Casa de la Danza Los Cabos / Foro Vasconcelos, as well as the members of the host dance group Arrobadanza, who reported that the National Circuit is part of the Chapultepec Priority Project, Nature and Culture in its two calls, “In Independent Spaces” through the Hellenic Cultural Center and “Puppets and Objects” through the National Center for the Arts.
“I want to make a very special mention because in this broadcast towards the Vasconcelos Forum the will of both the Sudcalifornian Institute of Culture (ISC) and the Institute of Culture and the Arts (ICA) of Los Cabos join together to enhance the dissemination and promotion of all the cultural offerings that are coming in these months,” said Elea Casiano.
The Vasconcelos Forum of Casa de la Danza Los Cabos will receive 17 professional companies from the northwest region of the country, which involves the states of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Sinaloa and Sonora.
A total of 18 shows between dance, theater and puppets that will make Los Cabos a celebration of the performing arts. The public will be able to enjoy 33 performances between the months of January, February and March 2024 in the only professional space dedicated to the performing arts in Cabo San Lucas.
The companies, as part of the call in independent spaces, will give 2 performances of their respective works to the delight of the Cabeño public. 6 companies arrive from the State of Baja California: Proyecto Lan (February 4 | 6 and 8 pm), Abordo Teatro (February 16 | 6 and 8 pm), Cuarto Fractal (March 15 | 6 and 8 pm), Musas Laboratorio Escético (March 16 | 6 and 8 pm), Ingrávita Escénica (March 23 | 6 and 8 pm) and Cuatro X Cuatro (March 30 and 31 | 8 pm).
Ee Baja California Sur is presented with a single performance Art Escena MKM (February 24 | 8 pm); from the state of Chihuahua there will be the presence of 4 companies: Teatro Barbaro (January 20 | 6 and 8 pm), A basket of lemons (February 18 | 1 and 5 pm), Hybris Teatro (February 23 | 6 and 8 pm) and Bethlem Theater (March 9 | 6 and 8 pm).
2 companies will arrive from Sinaloa: Athros Danza (January 27 | 6 and 8 pm), La mandragora Teatro (February 3 | 6 and 8 pm); and Sonora
will have the representation of 3 companies: Andamios Teatro (February 11 | 6 and 8 pm), Lormiga Títeres (March 8 | 5 and 6:30 pm) and Multicultural Sonora (March 17 | 6 and 8 pm).
As part of the Puppets and Objects call, the companies will give a single performance; from the state of Sinaloa the company La Mandrágora Teatro (February 2 | 8 pm); and the Cepa Teatro/Títeres de la Baja company from Baja California are in the process of scheduling their performance.
