How will the market share of car subscriptions develop in the future?
The market share will grow strongly. This not only keeps our cost structures low, but also avoids errors and improves the quality of our service.
How revolutionary is the idea that I can subscribe to my car with just a few clicks?
We didn’t reinvent the wheel (laughs). But we realigned it. While car procurement has long been about the cars, their equipment and impressive showrooms, we have taken the customer’s perspective and developed a service that is geared to their needs. The online booking is only the start of the subscription, but with us the service continues after the car is handed over. We want to make life easier for our customers when it comes to cars, including changing tires, handling claims, changing the car if it no longer fits.
You are a digital professional yourself. What do you know about the car trade?

Are there advantages to building a new business model as a career changer?

With Corona, the associated chip crisis and the delivery delays as well as the current war in Ukraine, great uncertainties have dominated for two years. How does this affect the car trade?
The car trade is in a turbulent phase. Before the war in Ukraine, it was thought that the delivery situation would slowly but surely return to normal. Now, in addition to the lack of chips, new challenges have arisen that further increase the problem. It is currently difficult to assess exactly how the situation will affect it, but it is clear that there will be too few new cars on the market overall. In the car trade we will see rising prices for new and used cars and very long waiting times for new cars.
Were there any highlights in the past year?
In any case. Despite all the challenges and the tense delivery situation, we were able to Carvolution look forward to impressive growth. We know that the car subscription is becoming more and more popular, and accordingly we ordered vehicles early on, which we now get all the time.
What are Carvolution’s next goals?
We want to continue to improve consistently in all areas and always be innovative. We want to continue to be there for our customers with all our heart day and night.
