Cartagonova will open their grass this Monday, September 21, against Sporting de Gijón, in the first Second Division match that they will host since 2012. It will be almost three years after having changed it for the first time, in October 2017. This time, the grass is being repositioned already grown, practically ready for sports. This last process began this Tuesday and will conclude throughout the day today. This change in the field of play responds to the demands of LaLiga, within the adaptation works of the Albinegro fiefdom, which have had a budget of 750,000 euros, of which 600,000 have been contributed by the City Council, and the other 150,000 by the club, although they have come from the municipal subsidy that FC Cartagena receives.
