Two cars were burned in Siltamäki in Helsinki during the weekend.

Crime Commissioner and Director of Investigation Tuomas Lindholm tells Iltalehte that the car fires happened within a short time and reasonably close to each other.

Cars were destroyed in fires. The burned cars were located along the street, Lindholm says. Nearby cars were also damaged.
In Sweden, cars have been burnt down from time to time. The burning of cars has been a familiar phenomenon in Sweden for a long time, and sometimes cars have also been burned as part of gang violence.
According to Lindholm, there are no indications of such activity in the case of Siltasaari.
