Three motorists stopped a truck driver’s alcohol drive on a German autobahn on Friday evening. The 43-year-old was noticed on the A5 near Alsfeld (state of Hesse) when he drove serpentine lines and hit crash barriers on both sides, the police reported. A car driver called the police, the two cars driving in front of the truck slowed down, forcing the trucker to stop. He had 3.25 per mille of alcohol in his blood.
The drivers also stopped and spoke to the truck driver. When they found he was intoxicated, they stopped him from driving until the police arrived. The officers tested that the driver was severely drunk and then took him to the police station.
