A terrible accident happened in the City Tangerang when a Honda Odyssey driver hit 7 vehicles in front of him this morning. The accident resulted in 1 person being killed and 5 people injured.
The Head of Public Relations of the Tangerang Metro Police, Kompol Abdul Rachim, said that this incident occurred on Thursday (17/3/2022) early in the morning, at around 01.00 WIB, on Jl Raya Gatot Subroto Km 2.5. He said the Honda Odyssey, numbered B-1726-WMX, was driven by Jeffry (27).
“Jeffry came from Cikokol direction towards Cibodas Park crossing Jl Raya Imam Bonjol Km 2.56 walking in the right lane hitting the back of the motorbike driven by Dahlan Supraman, who was coming from the same direction, then the driver of the Honda Odyssey vehicle fled to the side of the road. the direction of Cimone Karawaci passes on Jl Raya Imam Bonjol,” said Rachim when contacted, Thursday (17/3).
After escaping, Jeffry crashed into the motorcycle with the number B-6944-CWD driven by Karman because he lost control to the right.
“Right in front of the chicken meatball noodle stall in Karawaci, Kota” Tangerang, lost control to the right and crashed into Karman’s motorbike. Then, Jeffry hit an electric pole which is on the left side of the road in front of the chicken meatball noodle shop,” he added.
Not stopping there, Jeffry made another attempt to escape across Jalan Raya Gatot Subroto Km 2.5. At this point, Jeffry hit again, but this time it was a four-wheeled vehicle.
