Several cars went up in flames at the AP Car Store showroom on Kanaaldijk-Zuid in Eindhoven on Friday night. Cars were parked in front of the building’s facade. A 112 correspondent speaks of an attack.
According to the 112 correspondent, the cars were doused in fuel and then set on fire with matches. “There are still several matches on the road.”
“A suspect films everything with his cell phone”
The showroom was also damaged in the fire. Some windows in the showroom shattered due to the heat. But the firefighters, who arrived promptly, managed to prevent the fire from spreading. “There was a thick layer of smoke in the showroom.” The police are conducting extensive investigations.
According to the 112 correspondent, the perpetrators are visible in the camera images. That would be three people. “A suspect films everything on his cell phone.”
