A 65-year-old died in a serious accident between Darmstadt and Griesheim (Darmstadt-Dieburg). The man apparently lost control of his car in a curve on Dornheimer Weg near Griesheim and crashed into an oncoming car.

According to the police, the driver suffered such serious injuries that he died at the scene of the accident. The driver of the other car from the Groß-Gerau district was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
