Carrefour withdraws from the market an assortment of pork drum, which contained a bacterium that causes a dangerous disease / Customers are asked to destroy or bring back the products

ANSVSA announces, on Saturday, the withdrawal from the market by Carrefour Romania of an assortment of pork drum, in which Listeria monocytogenes was detected. The bacterium can cause listeriosis, a potentially dangerous disease, especially for children, pregnant women, the elderly or those with low immunity.

• “We inform you that the company CARREFOUR ROMÂNIA SA has initiated the withdrawal from marketing of the product DRUM OF PORK DEAR DE ROMÂNIA as a result of highlighting the presence of Listeria monocytogenes”, ANSVSA transmitted on Saturday.

It is recommended that people who own such products not consume them, but destroy them or take them back to the stores where they bought them.
