ANSVSA announces, on Saturday, the withdrawal from the market by Carrefour Romania of an assortment of pork drum, in which Listeria monocytogenes was detected. The bacterium can cause listeriosis, a potentially dangerous disease, especially for children, pregnant women, the elderly or those with low immunity.
- “We inform you that the company CARREFOUR ROMÂNIA SA has initiated the withdrawal from marketing of the product DRUM OF PORK DEAR DE ROMÂNIA as a result of highlighting the presence of Listeria monocytogenes”, ANSVSA transmitted on Saturday.
It is recommended that people who own such products not consume them, but destroy them or take them back to the stores where they bought them.

The equivalent value of the products will be returned, without the need to present the tax receipt.
- “People who have consumed the products mentioned above and who have a simple fever or accompanied by a headache, are asked to consult a doctor and report this consumption. Pregnant women, people with low immunity, and the elderly should pay special attention to these symptoms. These symptoms may suggest listeriosis, a potentially serious disease, with an incubation time of up to eight weeks “, the ANSVSA warning also shows.
