Carrefour Returns to Czech Market with Unique Product Range

Something like this was really not expected and it only shows how interesting the Czech market is again for foreign chains. The brand that left it back in 2006 is returning to it. It is none other than Carrefour itself, which operated large stores here before finally selling them to competitor Tesco.

Now, however, he is testing a return to the domestic market. First, not in the form of physical stores, but the delivery of private products, which are often very specific and above all of high quality. Carrefour International Partnership has informed that it will sell its products through the wholesale ICU East Bohemia.

This chain is primarily a wholesaler, but it also operates two hundred retail stores and is constantly expanding. You will now be able to buy products listed under the Carrefour private label in it. It will not only be about luxury food, but also non-food goods.

It is supposed to be a very remarkable range of products, which will harmonize in an interesting way with the existing assortment offered by JIP východčeská. This is a great opportunity for this business to stand out from the crowd.

It is likely that Carrefour will not produce products for the Eastern markets, as is common for private brands of large chains, but that very similar goods will get here, which are available, for example, in the home country of the chain, which is France.

Carrefour’s private brands are very strong, which is why the chain is not afraid to offer them even where it does not operate directly. In addition to fresh and durable food, often in organic quality, it also offers a drugstore, pet food or various cleaning products for the home.

At the same time, it is a question whether this is not just part of a wider strategy on the part of Carrefour, within the framework of which it would like to return to the domestic market with full splendor, in the form of brick-and-mortar stores. The situation is relatively ripe for this, as many Czechs are very angry at the present business chains. The French could take advantage of this and come up with an attractive offer.
