Cáritas Diocesana de Asidonia-Jerez develops training actions so that people at risk of social exclusion that it accompanies from their area of employment, acquire skills and abilities in situ in the workplace and expand their options to access the ordinary labor market.
For this, the valuable collaboration of companies such as Carrefour is necessary, which has welcomed people who carry out these training courses organized by Cáritas Diocesana at its facilities for years. However, this time, it goes one step further and has hired 7 people in Carrefour Norte and 6 in Jerez Sur, after completing their on-the-job training.
Mila Díaz, general coordinator of Cáritas Diocesana, greatly appreciates Carrefour’s commitment and contribution, since “especially in our area, with high unemployment and precariousness rates, it is great news that Carrefour is committed to hiring people who need this great impulse to get out of the difficult situation they are going through”.
Gracia Fernández Guzmán, Head of HR Carrefour Jerez Norte, explains that “at Carrefour we believe in opportunities and we will do everything possible to help the people who need it most. We publicly thank Cáritas for the great work they do”.
Likewise, Rocío Chacón Rodríguez, Head of HR Carrefour Jerez Sur, thanks the entire team of Cáritas Diocesana de Asidonia-Jerez, for being the link to discover talents for our company, through job placement.
These on-the-job training actions are co-financed by the European Social Fund within the framework of the Social Inclusion and Social Economy Operational Program (POISES 2020-2023).
