Carrefour is recalling burgers and sausages

These products are recalled by the supermarket

Supermarket chain Carrefour is recalling burgers, sausages and other meat from wholesaler Deli Ostrich because of the possible presence of salmonella. The products were sold in the butcher’s department of various Carrefour shops in Belgium.

These are the Carrefour ‘Iberico Burger’, ‘Iberico Chipolata’ and ‘Iberico Gourmet’ products with expiration dates 14 and 15 October 2020. Consumers are asked to return the products to the point of sale, where they will be refunded. Anyone who has already eaten the meat and experiences symptoms such as a fever or headache will be asked to see a doctor.

For more information, customers can contact Carrefour Belgium’s customer service on the free number 0800 / 9.10.11, every working day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
