Boxes of Cayenne pepper from the Connétable brand, sold at Carrefour and Auchan, are currently the subject of a recall, as identified by the site Oulah. These preserves could contain pieces of glass.
In press releases published Wednesday, the two brands indicate that “all of the products are withdrawn from marketing, however some (…) were marketed before the withdrawal measure”.

Boxes sold by three or alone
At Carrefour, the recall measure concerns 125g cans of sardines sold in packs of three. The affected lots are as follows: 04 2025 / S00970164; 04 2025 / S00970183; 04 2025 / S00970205. On the Auchan side, it is the same preserve, but sold alone. It bears the lot number 04 2025 / S00970183. “We ask the people who bought this product not to consume it and to bring it back to the point of sale. It will be refunded to you immediately, ”say the two brands.
