Former player Liverpool Jamie Carragher scoffed at him Cristiano Ronaldo who chose a career in Saudi Arabia rather than Europe saying a sad ending.
Carragher revealed this after leading Liverpool’s match against Leicester City on Sky Sports, reported by the Daily Mail. According to Carragher, Ronaldo’s way is not elegant.
“It’s a sad ending for him. Ronaldo ended his career with an interview with Piers Morgan, while Lionel Messi won the 2022 World Cup,” Carragher said. Daily mail.
The former England player has stated that he is not a fan of Ronaldo. It’s just that Carragher greatly admired the CR7’s performance and ethos during his career in England, Spain and Italy.
