This year’s big music competition kicks off on Saturday when the first part of Melodifestivalen 2024 takes place in Malmö. It is, as usual, a star-studded list of candidates who will compete for Sweden’s place in the Eurovision Song Contest. It is just as star-studded among the experts who predict the outcome of the competition. National team stars Caroline Seger and Olivia Schough follow the festival closely and predict the outcome on behalf of Svenska Spel Sport & Casino. In Malmö they believe that Lisa Ajax and Samir & Victor go directly to the final.
Melodifestivalen 2024 kicks off in Malmö this weekend. The hard rockers in Smash into pieces only have to cash out their ticket to the finals, if the odds are to be believed, there behind it is all the more even, albeit a clear advantage for Adam Woods in terms of the odds. On behalf of Svenska Spel Sport & Casino, soccer stars Caroline Seger and Olivia Schough have seen the starting field and have two completely different favorites, they think it will be Lisa Ajax and Samir & Viktor who get their hands on the final places.
– Worried but FINALLY!!! The highlight of the spring is undoubtedly the Melodifestivalen and on Saturday it finally starts. Very exciting starting field this year and I can appreciate that there is not such a clear favorite like Loreen last year, although she had a fantastic contribution. Without having heard the contributions, I’m a little excited about Dotter, but especially Cazzi Opeia, who had a real pop smoker last time, says Jonas Nilsson, PR manager, Svenska Spel Sport & Casino.
Winning the entire competition seems to be an even story. Norwegian pop wonder Marcus & Martinus are favorites ahead of Danny Saucedo. There behind are Dotter, Smash into pieces, Jay Smith and Miss Snusk to name a few.
