VIVA – Caroline Jurie arrested by police for stealing the crown from the winner of the beauty pageant Mrs Sri Lanka 2021 recently.
The former Mrs. Sri Lanka had previously been in the spotlight because she forcibly removed her successor crown, Pushpika De Silva who is officially declared the winner of the contest.
Caroline Jurie as Mrs. World also attended the event to present her title and crown. However, seconds after De Silva was crowned the winner, Jurie surprised the organizers by forcibly removing the crown and boiling the microphone from De Sliva.
He claimed that the woman did not qualify to become Mrs. Sri Lanka, because she was a widow.
