Carola Häggkvist (55) says that now is the time to tell what she describes as the true story.

It will happen in a separate book, says the Swedish singing star on Instagram.
«How to make room to tell your own story? The one that happens behind the scenes – the true “behind the scenes” without time limit?», Carola writes to her 216,000 followers on Thursday.
«How should one be able to tell as one’s own experiences, feelings and experiences, while doing everything to survive, to keep one’s head above water mentally, and with a small child? 2022 is the year when I put the pen to the paper and take the time to tell in my own words», Writes the 55-year-old.
Carola’s book announcement comes just over a year after her ex-husband Runar Søgaard published a book, in which he unfolded in detail what he said was “The unknown truth” about cohabitation and the breakup with Carola. She reacted strongly when the book came out.
Last year it became known that Runar’s book will also be a film.
Runar and Carola were married from 1990 to 2000 and have a son Amadeus Søgaard (23) together.
Carola also has a daughter, Zoe Häggkvist (13).
14 years ago, Swedish newspapers wrote that Carola was to write a biography. It never came. In her recent Insta post, she does not write when the book comes out, but she already asks readers to place a pre-order.
