Carlos Tevez reflects on his time at Juventus and the impact on his career

In an interview with EAFC24, Carlos Tevez, now coach of Argentinian club Independiente, recalled his experience at Juventus as a footballer.

“Coming to Juventus was like a breath of fresh air. From the start, it was incredible, because coming to a big club and wearing Del Piero’s jersey is something important. It was a big moment for me and when I decided to go back to Argentina, Vanessa, my wife, wanted to kill me. In Italy, everything was very easy. Italians are like Argentinians, part of my heart stayed there forever,” said the former Argentina international.

“Every game, every time I wore the Juventus shirt, I always left a part of my heart on the pitch. I think that’s how the fans always felt about me until I left. I played my last Champions League game and the next day I returned to Argentina”.
