In the prelude to the start of Fashion Month, the most important designer in Colima and one of the new talents of Mexican fashion, Carlos Pineda, prepares his suitcases for New York to parade again within the framework of Fashion Week on next September 10 by the hand of the ONxSET platform.

Pineda’s presentation will also be the debut of her collection “Colors: A Story of Still Life”, corresponding to the autumn-winter 2023 season and made up of 30 feminine looks, which will be complemented on the catwalk with footwear and accessories from another Mexican firm : Bala Di Gala.
The series, inspired by the beauty and transformation of nature, focuses on the duality of flowers, capturing both their delicacy and their thorns. In addition, he challenged the native of Colima to explore a more sober and neat palette, which contrasts with his previous works characterized by bright colors and patterns.
“Colours: A Story of Still Life” has a creative work of 6 months, and was made in materials such as silk, hand-embroidered brocades, satins, cotton, linen and gauze, which provide a unique texture and visual richness.
ONxSET is an international fashion platform whose vision is to encourage Mexican and Latin American designers to grow internationally; For the second consecutive year, it gives creatives the opportunity to represent Mexico and share their work with a global audience.

It is worth remembering that at his young age, the young talent from Colima is no stranger to international catwalks and has taken his fashion proposal to places like Dubai and Los Angeles, as well as dressing big names in the show, highlighting Camila Cabello in the final of the Champions League, an event that generated an audience of 8.4 million viewers.
