He Palacio Valdés de Avilés Theater has had this Friday with the absouto national premiere of ‘Rita’. Tragicomedy born from the pen of Marta Buchaca, directed by Lautaro Perotti and starring Carlos Hipólito and Mapi Sagaseta, supposes the resumption of the theatrical performances of EscenAvilés, suspended in the month of March.
“It seems that good luck to premiere in Avilés. Apart from being a beautiful place, the theater is wonderful, the city is a beauty and the audience is great, “said the actor, excited to be able to get back on the stage after the long period of inactivity and after the great ovation received. Now it is a tradition, he continued, “If it can be released in Avilés, better to do it here than anywhere else”. Referring to premiere Friday, he assured in the microphones of A Vivir that there are two days Asturias that “it was a magical night” and he recalled that after the remodeling of the Palacio Valdés Theater in 1993, his play ‘La Estación’ was chosen for the first premiere. “Since then, if not every year, one yes or one no, I have come.”
‘Rita’ will not be represented again, after the premiere in Asturias, until January, since the actor and his wife and co-star Mapi Sagaseta, will focus on a new theatrical project, ‘Macbeth’ de Shakespeare.
