Achieving 60 victories in a season is not easy, becoming the youngest world number one in history is not for everyone, winning Wimbledon at just 20 years old makes it clear that he has the means to mark an era, that is Carlos Alcaraz. The Spanish tennis player became a sensation, called to take the throne left by greats like Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.
His level is extraordinary. Always gives a show. Furthermore, he not only attracts attention because of his athleticism, but also because of his personality. The maturity, character and mentality that he has, at his age, are a sign that he is a ‘chosen one’. And, added to this, his charisma and humility also draw attention. However, he is human and is not always in a good mood. This was evident.
Last Tuesday, October 3, he lost against Jannik Sinner (7-6, 6-1), in the semifinals of the ATP 500 in Beijing. “In the second set I was mentally out, I was complaining too much, something that really makes it difficult for you to play at your best level, that’s what it means to be angry with yourself. This is what happened,” confessed the world number two, who He was seen untied.
“Shit! Do you want to get over it once and for all?” he exclaimed, after one of the mistakes he made. It is not normal to see him that way and with those attitudes, but, surely, as she has always said, it will be something that he will learn from. Now, he will focus on what lies ahead, finishing the year in the best way and preparing for 2024, a year about which he already gave some news in relation to the tournaments.
