The rivalry between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz on the courts is a fact, but off the courts there is a beautiful friendship, a bit like that between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. The two young tennis prodigies dominate the circuit more and more and from year to year their sovereignty becomes indisputable.
An image that is doing the rounds on the web is that of the two rivals sharing the same flight to Shanghai a few hours after their hotly contested final in Beijing, won by Carlos Alcaraz.
The good vibes between the Alcaraz and Sinner team is demonstrated in things like this.

No time to breathe
One of the downsides of playing modern tennis is the schedule which many players say is completely unmanageable, evidenced by the recovery times that Sinner and Alcaraz will benefit from.
The schedule being what it is, both players will make their debut at the Shanghai Masters just 48 hours after finishing the Beijing Masters. Despite the fatigue that will be there, both the Italian and the Spaniard remain the absolute favorites to win the Chinese Masters 1000.
